NEW TRASH CAN LAW EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1, 2021

Acceptable container:

The city of Oneida is requiring all residents to use a container with handles and a tethered (attached), tight-fitting cover to store their trash. Cans that have no lids or lids that are detached are no longer acceptable. You can purchase containers that are acceptable and meet the city of Oneida’s requirements at any home department store such as Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, Ace Hardware, or others who may have them available. Prices range from as low as $22 for a container that has a tethered (attached), tight-fitting cover. All trash must be contained in the appropriate containers and no trash of any kind is allowed to sit on the ground.

Please be advised that we are still servicing residents in the city of Oneida and highly recommend those who do not have an acceptable container to obtain one promptly. This is a law required by the city of Oneida and has no association with our company.
